Climate Change
As stated by the EC, Climate change poses a double challenge: we must not only make deep cuts in its greenhouse gas emissions (mitigation) but also take measures to adapt to current and future climate change in order to lessen the adverse impacts of global warming on people, the economy and the environment (Adaptation).
CEA will continue to take an active part to the EU mitigation and adaptation initiatives by feeding the debates with the insurers’ expertise in all areas of interest (Risk assessment and management, Claims management,...) in order to help safeguarding the insurability of related risks.
